What are the requirements for a US student visa?
To apply for an F-1 visa (student visa), you need:

- Admission to a US-based SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program)-certified institution.
- Form I-20 issued by the institution.
- Proof of financial capability to cover tuition and living expenses.
- A valid passport.
How long does it take to get a student visa?
Processing times vary but typically range from a few weeks to a couple of months. Schedule your visa interview as early as possible.
Can I work while studying in the USA?
Yes, F-1 visa holders can work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) on campus during academic terms and full-time during breaks. Optional Practical Training (OPT) may allow you to work after graduation.
How much does it cost to study in the USA?
Tuition fees range between $20,000 and $50,000 per year, depending on the university and program. You’ll also need $10,000 to $15,000 annually for living expenses.
Can I bring my family while studying in the USA?
F-1 visa holders can apply for F-2 dependent visas for their spouse and children. However, dependents are not allowed to work.
